This course offers training in MULTIPLE methods!! You will be certified in our COCO Method, Concealed Technique, K Tip & Tape In application. You will learn to create gentle beaded rows that will keep your guests scalp and natural hair in top shape. It's so common in the extension industry for stylists to create "hot spots", otherwise known as "bald spots". When your technique and application are proper this does NOT and should NOT happen. This is common because of to many wefts placed on a row, to much tension and not knowing the correct way to tighten your beads. Extensions should NEVER create damage and unfortunately have a bad rep because stylists are not trained properly. After years of practicing techniques learned along the way, Courtney created her COCO METHOD. This is a gentle beaded row using 5mm beads, eliminating the string used in the beading process and designed with a unique slant from beginning anchor bead to end anchor bead. This method is so gentle the scalp will remain healthy and natural hair will grow and stay strong because it's never over directed during installation. At maintenance appointments there is minimal/normal shedding.
Our CONCEALED TECHNIQUE is a gentle beaded row using 2mm beads eliminating the thread in the beaded row. Our wefts are then placed strategically above and below the row to hide the view of beads. This technique is great for fine hair guests and those that like to pull their hair up often.

WEFT METHOD
Our seamless method is by far the flattest and most comfortable method we have created. Designed for a flexible feel and absolutely perfect for those that do not have time to sit in a chair for hours. This installation takes on average 20 minutes or less to install. Only one pack is needed for volume and 2 packs for length and volume. We highly recommend this choice for those that love to pull their hair up or are wanting more fullness and a less expensive option.

Courtney is the Creator & Founder of COCO MARIE HAIR. She launched her education in 2016 initially working with tape ins and i-itips. Once the hand tied method starting gaining popularity that is where her love for the wefts came into play. During 2018 she spent most of her time outside the salon working hard to create her own brand of extensions. Her vision was to become a nationwide brand, not just supply the hair out of her Denver salon to guests. With a ton of hard work and her husband, Chad eventually becoming her business partner the hair extension line took off and is used by salons and independent stylists in over 40 states, Australia, and Canada.
