Chad and Courtney met in the early part of 2012 and began their journey together. Courtney was in her second year of owning her first booth rent salon and Chad was working as a sales rep in corporate America. They were married in 2013 and became pregnant with their first son, Cellan (pronounced with a K) right after their honeymoon. Two years later, they had their second son, Channing. At the end of 2019, Courtney asked Chad if he would be willing to support her in launching her own hair extension line. Without a second thought, Chad was on board!

In early 2020 they launched COCO MARIE HAIR EXTENSIONS and unfortunately just a month later, Covid hit and closed salons all over the world. Chad and Courtney were desperate to sale their hair and brand not only in their salon but throughout the US. They took a massive risk and began flying all over the country, wearing masks and traveling on planes when the world was shut down. They presented their hair to any salon owner or stylist that would take the time to listen to their story and embrace their brand. Building relationships with salon owners and stylists/customers is so important to them and this customer service is a staple to why their hair brand continues to grow year after year. In 2020, Chad left Corporate America to become a full time partner of COCO MARIE HAIR and salons. Currently they own two salons in Denver, a growing education team that trains throughout the country and their hair is sold throughout the USA, Canada and Australia.

"Thank you so much for showing interest in my hair extension brand as well as my salon companies. I absolutely love what I do and I’m so honored to work in an industry where we can provide confidence and raise the bar to empower women. I grew up as a dancer and gymnast since the age of three and started professionally dancing at seventeen. I was a cheerleader for the Denver Broncos for three years and have two Super Bowl rings. I professionally danced on a hip hop company in Atlanta, GA, worked as a dancer on Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines while living in the Bahamas and taught dance to thousands of dancers throughout the country. I wrapped up my dance career in Denver with two large modern/hip hop companies when I became pregnant with my first son.
At my salons, you will see me working with associates every day I’m behind the chair. They are not only my second set of hands but they are training under myself and my lead stylists so they can eventually take their own chair and become successful. Many people ask where COCO MARIE comes from…. it is the first two letters of my first name, my maiden last name (Conway) and Marie is my middle name. I launched my hair extension brand in 2020 and I am so incredibly grateful to all the women wearing my hair extensions and the stylists that choose COCO MARIE HAIR. "
